cream together one package of oreos and one package (8oz i think - normal size) cream cheese. should end up very uniform (speckled black). Use a cookie scoop to make 'balls' out of mixture (about the size of a circle you can make with your pointer finger and thumb). Put in fridge to firm up. After they're firm, melt some almond bark (or chocolate) and dip the balls into it so they're covered. Let covering harden and VOILA - Oreo Truffles.
If you google them, you can find ideas to make them more fancy...

Oreo Truffles - my family demands them...if they only knew how simple they were!
Recipe, please?
I am always on the lookout for nut-free options for the daycare teachers.
1 package of Oreos.
1 package of room temp cream cheese.
1 bag of chocolate chips
Grind Oreos in food processor, whip cream cheese, add Oreos to Cream cheese and mix well, roll mix into small balls, put in freezer for an hour, melt chocolate chips, dip balls into melted chocolate, refrigerate. You can also melt some white chocolate and drizzle on top of truffles if you want to be fancy.

I do! Christmas Crunch (a/k/a crack as it's wonderfully addictive), sugar cookies (pain in the rear but everyone loved them last year :: sigh :::), and usually mint chocolate spritz. Generally I'll have one or two others and thinking I'll just cheat and do chocolate chip or something.
My sister is a Pampered Chef consultant and they have a recipe in their holiday mini Catalog that has creme de menthe truffles like the oreo truffles but with andes mints (delicious). I am thinking about making them this year for some gifts. My friend makes her own Almond Roca like candy, truffles, glazed nuts, etc for gifts. I wish I had the time to do that!
