It's really slow here at work. Anyone with me? It is dead here, at least we get to leave 2 hours early today.

1. What is for lunch? Taco Bell (its the closest thing to my office)

2. Do you have anything fun planned in the next month holiday or non-holiday related? We are leaving next Thursday (Dec. 1) to go to Vegas for a long weekend. Nothing overly exciting for holidays, just spending time with family.

3. What is your favorite holiday song? Silent Night

4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? Yes I get along with my IL's, they have been very supportive of our IF journey and are just generally nice people.

5. Selfish question: I have off tonight, and plan on having a drink. Suggestions? I am not big into mixed drinks (though I love the whiskey sours my FIL makes), I am more of a beer drinker and I love Blue Moon, lately I have been Loving Sam Adams Octoberfest, but I bet it won't be around for much longer.

It's really slow here at work. Anyone with me?

1. What is for lunch? I went to Bountiful Bread and had a half chicken caprese sandwich and a cup of chicken/potato/spinach soup.

2. Do you have anything fun planned in the next month holiday or non-holiday related? We are going to the finger lakes the weekend after this one for their annial Deck the Halls wine tasting celebration! I am very excited! We get a wreath made out of vines, an ornament at each winery, a wine tasting and food pairing at each winery, and a cook book with all the food recipes in it.

3. What is your favorite holiday song? I really love Sarah Mclachlan's wintersong. My favorite traditional song is Christmas Time is Here.

4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? It depends. I mean, I love them, but they annoy the heck out of me. They mean well, but they can be oversensitive and extremely selfish. They also are a tad socially awkward and act completely different (and by different I mean weird) around other people. Around just me and DH they are fine. They are the type of people too that like to look perfect around others...but it doesn't usually work. lol. I usually only like spending time with them if I can have some wine while doing it. Again, they mean well, but yeah, they are a handful.

5. Selfish question: I have off tonight, and plan on having a drink. Suggestions? I am thinking some warm spiced wine, but I am not 100% sold on it. :-)

2. Do you have anything fun planned in the next month holiday or non-holiday related? I have a jewelry party in a couple weeks. That's about it.

3. What is your favorite holiday song? I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm by Kay Starr

4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? I get along with them. I'm not a big fan of FIL because he's an emotionally abusive jerkhead, but I like my MIL

5. Selfish question: I have off tonight, and plan on having a drink. Suggestions? Pinot Noir? That's my go-to when I want to get cozy on the couch.

1. What is for lunch? Leftover curry from dinner the other night, I think.

2. Do you have anything fun planned in the next month holiday or non-holiday related? We're visiting with my sister right now, so this is the highlight of the next month. Oh, and my winter break from school starts in 3 weeks, so that'll be fantastic (just have a LOT of work to do before I get there).

3. What is your favorite holiday song? O Holy Night or Baby It's Cold Outside (it's creepy but I love it)

4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? Well they love me, but I get super annoyed by them. They're very, very nice, but are overbearing and can be insensitive to others' needs. Oh, and on the petty side of things, FIL wears WAY too much cologne, and they almost always wear matching clothes. Bugs me so much.

5. Selfish question: I have off tonight, and plan on having a drink. Suggestions? My favorite this time of year is a Gold Rush - bourbon, honey syrup & lemon. But some mulled wine sounds delicious too!

4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? Yeah, I guess so. I am not a fan of my FIL, he is the rudest most selfish person I have ever met. My MIL is the total opposite, and I am not sure how she has stayed w/ him all these years.

5. Selfish question: I have off tonight, and plan on having a drink. Suggestions? Beer is my go to drink. I have been starting to really like wine though.

3. What is your favorite holiday song? I swear I'm not a Scrooge, but I can't stand Christmas music. The only time it is remotely tolerable is when it's instrumental only.

4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? I force myself to get along with MIL, but it's very tiring. Shes one of those people i refer to as an 'energy sucker.'

2. Do you have anything fun planned in the next month holiday or non-holiday related? Work Christmas parties. I work for my dad and he has a big party for all our employees. This year he hired a magician for my nieces and nephews so I am excited to see that. :-)
3. What is your favorite holiday song? Anything on Amy Grant's Christmas Album
4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? Yes very much so. MIL is a little cra cra sometimes but I love her. FIL and SMIL are awesome as well. They live in California so we don't get to see them very often. The only thing that is annoying about them all is that they never plan ahead and are ALWAYS late to everything. But I don't let that bother me much anymore. Otherwise, DH gets mad cause he says they like me more than him...oops!

Im thinking I might stop at Starbucks on the way home from getting my hair cut and get some hot chocolate and then spike it with something when I get home :-)

1. What is for lunch? Turkey, rice dressing, baked beans,dinner rolls and Hershey's pie (Thanksgiving party at work)

2. Do you have anything fun planned in the next month holiday or non-holiday related? DH's family lives 2 hours away and mine lives 1 hour away in the opposite direction. We travel ALOT during the holidays. I am also looking forward to IUI #2 and 14dpiui being Christmas eve.

3. What is your favorite holiday song? I'm not crazy over holiday music.

4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? Yes actually, I am VERY close to my MIL. DH, MIL, FIL and myself all work together so we have no choice but to get along. They are awesome in-laws and are always so supportive.

4. Do you get along with your in-laws? Why or why not? I have been very lucky in this department, I get along with both my in-laws amazingly! They are great people, and so supportive of everything!

5. Selfish question: I have off tonight, and plan on having a drink. Suggestions? DH and I are bringing one of our favorite drinks to Turkery dinner tomorrow - Hot Apple Cider and Captain Morgan with Cinnamon sticks! Its delish!
