s/o Christmas cookies

Anyone have a favorite sugar cookie recipe?  I am hoping to have DD1 decorate some cookies for her daycare teachers, but I don't have a good recipe.

    I cheat and get the mix. Or I just start throwing things together, eggs, flour, icing sugar, butter, and it works. I can't tell you quantities, I just do it by sight, how my grandma taught me. Recipes.com is good, people rate the recipes that are submitted and there are some good ideas there.
