snuzza vs boppy noggin for Rock n Play insert?

I received a snuzza at my shower but i was reading reviews and it looks like most ppl use a boppy noggin for a RNP insert to help prevent flat head syndrome? are these pretty much the same thing or should i exchange it for the boppy noggin?

  • Well you are not supposed to use the Noggin for sleeping.  Not sure about the Snuzza.

  • We used the Boppy Noggin Nest for extra head support in the stroller and bouncer.  I would never put either of those things in a RNP for sleeping.  It is a suffocation risk and specifically says so on the product tag.  Your newborn should be the only thing in the crib/bassinet when sleeping, do not add anything.  That means no blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, head supports, positioners, etc.  Aftermarket products like that should never be used in car seats either.

  • I agree w/  those above and wouldn't use.  DD slept in RnP for 6m, and we had no issues w/ flathead at all.
