Hi! We made it!

We drove for 3 days and arrived last night. We are staying in my IL's fully furnished/finished basement until we find a house. We plan on waiting until spring.

Most of our things are in storage, but the rest we are unpacking today. We basically have our own little apartment. It has a master bedroom, a small dining room, a big living room, 3 closets and a bathroom. We also have a large unfinished area where we have a fridge.

It feels very strange to be in such a new and different place, but hopefully we adjust quickly! Thanks for checking in on me!

    Yay for making it safely!!  Sounds like you have some nice digs to hang out in until you find a place.

    glad you had an easy trip out there! Hopefully the weather isn't too much of a shock to your SoCal system!

    Glad you made it there safely!!  How cool that you have a nice place to stay in before you find a house of your own.  I hope you guys adjust and settle in as quick as you can.

    glad you made it and have a nice place to stay until you go house hunting.  Ooooh, maybe you can go on House Hunters.  I watch that show all the time.

    Glad it went well! Sounds like you have a decent spacento stay until you find a new home. I could never stay with my in-laws, so I give you credit there.

    TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!
