What are you asking for for the holidays?

What are you asking for for the holidays? Is there anything special that you hope to get (but don't want to ask for)?

It seems like once you're an adult, holiday gifts (gifts in general) are hard. There isn't anything I need. Pre-baby if there was something I wanted & had to have, I just bought it.

I've been asked for gift suggestions, but I don't know what to say. MH & I said we wouldn't go crazy spending on each other this year & we'd focus on our LO instead. Then he turns around & asks if I want an iPad for Christmas (he has a friend who can get him a great deal). Um, no. An iPad isn't "not going crazy". I'm fine with my iphone & the laptop.

My siblings asked what we wanted; I told them to buy gifts for LO only. I'll get them each a small gift from the LO. My parents asked what we wanted; I told them not to worry about us, just buy for LO. My mom laughed at me, lol

So far my list for MH consists of...slippers.

    I desperately need clothes and I want kitchen stuff. Here's my list - my birthday is also the 26th of November so it's a big season for me.

    Toms sparkly black shoes, or grey sequin shoes, a new pair of Uggs maybe? 

    a food mill, candy and probe thermometers, canning pot(mine's too small), kevlar kitchen gloves, new cutting board

    Gap or Target gift cards (it may be tacky, but I need clothes!)

    sheets

    two convertible carseats for the other car

    My family shops from wish lists.  Mine includes:

    Offset spatulas - used for frosting cakes 

    Socks ? knee high or crew length, preferably black or grey with colors/patterns

    Deathly Hallows parts 1&2 blu ray 

    Body pillow cover

    Lid for pyrex 11x7 baking pan.  The lid is plastic, just for storage, not for oven use. I have no clue if you can buy just the lid without the pan or not.

     

    I am considering asking DH for an immersion blender, the Hunger Games books, and a new hair dryer if we can't get mine to work properly (it won't go on high temp).

     

    DD1 is 3, DD2 is 1.

    A Kuerig coffee pot from the inlaws (joint gift for DH and me, though DH doesn't drink coffee, so really for me! HA!)

    Realllly warm cardigan sweater to be my "work sweater"...it's always freezing in the office.

    Silver necklace with DS' birthdate from DH.

    This year there's a charm bracelet I had my eye on so I asked DH for the bracelet and 1 charm and my dad for a few of the other charms. I put a blouse on the list for my mom. I'm pretty dull.

    My wants are all big, so who knows what I will get.  I want a new pair of Uggs, a video camera (like a flip camera), a seatbelt bag, a soft case for my camera.  If I get one of them, I will be happy!

    DH is getting an Ipad (although we are waiting for next version) We got an unexpected tax refund soooo...

    I want a new Kindle (which I may or may not have already gotten) Thank you Amazon points

    and a Rose Gold toned watch which Dh may or may not have already ordered :)

    I just want the bathroom done once and for all!  We have one...ONE bathroom and DH got the renovation project about...maybe 65%? done right after our wedding.  Three years ago.  He leaves for a year June 23.  It NEEDS to be done by then so I am going to suggest that this year we skip the presents for each other and he gets that damn bathroom done!
