We saw the baby's heartbeat at the second u/s at 7 weeks on the nose.
After TTC with IR PCOS:
April 2011: Metformin 1500mg + Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel + Prometrium = BFP!
Beta #1 at 14DPO: 197 Beta #2 at 18DPO: 1296
At 40w6d, our Team Green surprise came by unplanned C-section and changed our lives forever!
I am on progesterone until next Wednesday (have been since 10/13) - saw and heard the heartbeat this morning. I think my pregnancy symptoms really showed a few days before my first beta.
I was on PIO until the end of my 10th week of pregnancy. We were able to see and hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time at 6w5d.
Good luck with upcoming u/s!
TTC Since July 2008. Me: PCOS DH: Low everything (MFI) Clomid with TI x 3 2010 BFN Clomid+IUI+Ovidrel 2010 BFN IVF w/ICSI #1 2011 9/8/11 Beta #1: 2082!! 9/19/11 Beta#2 34,689!! I took vaginal Prometerium 200mg twice a day until 11 weeks. However, it was not a medicated cycle that got me pregnant, I took it only because my P4 was slightly low at 19DPO and I had spotting, so my RE just said "why not".
It's hard to tell when you are on Progesterone what is the med and what is normal pregnancy symptoms. My breasts did finally get sore when on it, but nothing terrible. I had a few waves of nausea at the 7-8 week timeframe, but nothing terrible.
My first u/s was at 6w4d and we could see the HB (119bpm) and hear it.
b/w=FSH 15.6, AMH 0.4 surprise natural BFP on 3/12/11 DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d
I took progesterone through the end of 10 weeks. The only side effect I remember was being really tired but that could be pregnancy too.
We first saw the heartbeat at 6w5d.

I was on progesterone suppositories through the 11th week of my pregnancy. I definitely had pregnancy symptoms that were not caused by the progesterone, but they didn't really start until the 6th week.
We first saw the baby's heartbeat at our first ultrasound, which was at 6 weeks.
I am currently on Progesterone suppositories through next week.
I saw the HB at 6 weeks, 3 days. And heard the HB at 10 weeks, 2 days.
Pregnancy in general will make you really tired, so it could be both. Just get some extra sleep.
