Grandparent gift suggestion

On a whim I made a calendar with photos of DD1 for the grandparents and my bro & sis last year.  They were a big hit and SIL and I are joining forces to create ones with DD1, DD2, and nephew this year.

I made the wall calendar option from Shutterfly.  It allows you to add events, including photos, so I put all four grandparents' birthdays on.

If I recall correctly, they ran a promo where you got a discount if you ordered more than one copy of the same calendar.

I know some folks aren't crazy about Shutterfly, but I find them easy to use, reasonably priced, and that they have very good customer service.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

DD1 is 3, DD2 is 1.

Re: Grandparent gift suggestion

  • No other suggestions, but just wanted to say that my experience with Shutterfly is good and we are also planning that sort of gifts.

  • I'm doing calendars on Snapfish.  I'm also doing photo books for the grandparents, with DS from birth to now.  I'm hoping it's not too much photo overload, but then I figure, grandparents eat that stuff up!

  • Good idea! My ILs print out every single photo from our albums on Snapfish. They recently mailed us a bunch of photos we took at my friend's wedding. They ordered the prints together with other photos of ours, but didn't even know who those people were.
