2nd Ultrasound/Changing Doctors

We had our NT scan today and it was our second time seeing the babies.  I was so worried but as soon as I saw two little moving babies I was so relieved!!!  They were measuring 11 wks 4 days and 11 wks 6 days ( I was supposedly 11 wks 0 days today).  The hbs were 161 and 163, and they were both moving around like crazy! 

I also posted last week on another post about my doctor telling me that I won't get more monitoring until after 28 weeks, well today the perinatologist told me that I will have another u/s in 5 weeks and then after that I will have another one every other week for the duration of my pregnancy to monitor the babies growth and to watch for TTTS.  I was so happy to hear that and I was also told I can ask for a referral to move my primary care to the perinatologist.  So I am going to call tomorrow and get that done.  I feel so much better about it and want to thank everyone for pointing out to me how crazy my doctors plans were! :)

    Congrats on the great US - they were always so reassuring before I could feel them move.  And good for you for changing doctors - you should be where you feel comfortable!

    Even now that I feel them moving it's always so great to see them on the u/s and get that visual reassurance that everything is okay. I'm glad that you have a doctor who you feel more comfortable with! One of the things I've quickly learned is how important that is, and how important it is to ask questions and take control of the care that you and the babies are getting.
