People are SO RUDE!

Ugh!  This lady I work with just came up to me and said, "Not to make you feel bad but do you find that you care less about your appearance now that you are pregnant?  You just don't put in the same effort that you used to."  WTF?!?!  Who says that???  Especially to a pregnant woman!  Excuse me if I had my head in the toilet all morning and therefore wore a comfortable sweater and pulled my hair back instead of my usual cute outfit and curled hair. 

 Then she asks me if I plan on working after the babies are born.  I tell her yes and she looks at me like I am crazy and says, "You're not going to be able to do that!  How are you going to do that?"  Um, like every other working mom in America with 2 children.  News flash:  babies are expensive, especially TWO babies.  Not everyone can afford to stay home.  Ugh...she might get throat punched by the end of the day.  RUDE!!!!

    Wow, I can't believe someone would say that to a pregnant person, I've found that the more comments I receive the less kind I am with my responses. I hope that you start to feel better, because throwing up all day is not fun.

    That was really rude!
    (And um, not every mom can afford to work. For some people, the expense of daycare for two infants plus the bump up in tax bracket from the second income, gas money for commuting, etc. are more expensive than SAH.)

    Who are these people and why is it when you are pregnant it's like they have a magnetic pull to us?  Seriously!  I don't know how I am going to take all of the twin attention!

    People are very rude.. I don't think that they truely think before they speak.  My assistant told me yesterday that my belly looked like the babies really grew over the weekend and was sticking out there more.  Sometimes you just want to say "Aww thanks for noticing!"
