Late period but preg test come back neg

I am 7 days late on my period but tests come back neg. I've never been this late before. My husband and I are TTC so it's not fun being late if I'm not preg. How much longer should I wait before I get tested at the doc?

Are you charting? How do you know when you ovulated? If you ovulated later than normal you might not be late at all.

Are you charting? If not, it is hard to determine when you O'd and thus you cannot really know when you are 'late.' Even if you usually have extremely regular cycles, it is possible to have a longer cycle. Wait a few more days and test again. If you go 60days with no AF call your ob.

approx. 25 more days (assuming you think you have a 28 day cycle + 7 days late = 35. 35 + 25 = 60.

and that's when you call the doc. Whether or not they do any testing is up to them.
