Re: help with funky diapers

  • Rocking Green Funk Rock? I really love just plain ole original Tide. I don't use it all the time but it helps keep the funk at bay.

  • Are you talking about Bac-Out?  Man that's some good stuff.  I still use it whenever the cats barf on the carpet.  I think you can get some at Whole Foods, but the CD mamas will know for sure.
  • I used Funk Rock and I have some RLR. I have a bunch of packets of that if you want me to send you one?

uhm I still have Ruby's new baby keep her busy crafts to send too.

    for shame on me.

  • How about some RLR?  I have a few packets if you'd like to try one.

    :-)

  • thank you for the info and the offers to try your stash. a neighbor saw my post and is going to bring me some RLR to try.

erin, i use the regular tide, but i still have buildup. i got the diapers off craigslist and wonder how often they were stripped by the previous owner. i've stripped them twice now and still think theyre a bit funky.

  • I use regular tide too and find I need to strip my diapers about every 3 or so months.  I use RLR to strip.  If your diapers are really yucky you can also try boiling the inserts - I've done that before and it worked great.
