Current BR stuff... DS is a devoted lover of blue. Most days he will throw on every blue article of clothing he has. Today he's made an exception and has chosen to wear a slightly inappropriate Sex Pistols shirt my dad got for him, but he's still wearing pants that have blue in them.

lol, I find that so funny for some reason.
I'm trying to contribute more, but I find that my own posts tend to be either complaints about my MIL (and really, she's great 95% of the time; plus I don't want to be the resident whiner) or aren't board-related.
Been busy at work and even moe so at home - that's my excuse. What happened to those people that were very active here a year ago when I came, but completely disappeared since then?
J doesn't have any color preferences but he will only wear track pants with stripes (Russian genes?) and either Superman or Batman shirts.

H is wearing pink (as usual) only because she has no choice! I'm sure she'll be like my niece who likes to dress as goth as my sister will let her (she's 10). It drives my sister nuts, but isn't that what daughters are supposed to do to their moms?
On another note, I've been very crafty today (in a good way). I added fabric and fancy fringe to one of Harlow's lamps (which I'm sure she'll hate one day) and I've been working on a shutterfly photo book of her first 3 months. So much fun!
And tomorrow I'll be baking in preparation for Thanksgiving... The career girl has become domesticated!!!

Hahahah... DS loves his too. They're blue, so that's probably why
I was at a craft store last week shopping with the family when we turned to the Christmas section and J said she had to go pee. A husband and wife were in the isle ahead of us and she turned and told me that the rest room is in the back of the store. DH (in the interest of getting me out of there sooner) took her to the bathroom while I finished up shopping. I had N in the cart and she was flirting away with the woman's husband. This was over conversation. . .
Mr: She sure is a cutie!
N: Smiling and cooing.
Me: Thank you we think she is pretty great!
Mrs: Just wait until they grow up.
Me: Awe come on it can't be that bad!
Mrs: It is!! Just wait, my children are just horrible people I often pray to God and ask him why he didn't make me barren.
Me: Looking at husband in stunned silence
Mr: She's right they didn't turn out very nice.
Me to N as I walk away fast as possible: Don't worry honey mommy will never wish you were never born!
WTF!! No wonder they turned out wacko if they had parents like that!!

Agreed with your last statement. It is sad that there are many people like that. Hopefully I won't turn in one of them:)

The latter statement is clearly a generalization, as I apparently have plenty of time to spend here.
