Home from my Post-OP, new SA results :(, and a PIP!

Hey girls! We're home from my post op from my lap. Seems my endo was all on my left side and my fibroid was on my right. I'd been having only right sided pain so the endo wasn't causing any of the pain! Just the fibroid- crazy because we had no inkling that I even had a fibroid. It all gone now and we're good.

RE wants to do no more than 3 more IUIs (he wants to do IVF but that's just not possible right now). So, we're doing one last Femara IUI this upcoming cycle (pos OPK today so next cycle will be around Dec 7th). Then we're moving on to injects. Our RE didn't seem very positive about injects. He said, "All we're doing is giving you more follicles with injects. It still won't help them meet." Boo. I know that but feign some positivity, would ya? He did say he'd let me have up to five follies.

Got our SA results back. Counts are back down to 10mill/ml and motility is down to 40% grade 2, 0% morph. This means the clomid has done NOTHING since July. This is where we'd been. Uro apt on Dec 12th. Fvck.

MH was driving us home and I looked over at him and he actually had tears in his eyes. He's soo upset by this and nothing I say is helping. We picked up some Fish Oil on the way home- even if it doesn't help our motility, I think it'll help his spirits to try something else. (already on Clomid, vitamin, extra folic acid and zinc)

I'm just feeling so down. Our IF uro last time said we were wasting money on IUIs, our RE is now saying "I'm cutting you off soon, you need IVF." and all I wanted was for our SA to improve. I want to scream, "I fvcking get it. We need IVF. But we can't do that til mid next year so someone get me KTFU sooner." How hard can that be? All I want is to have sex and be able to get pregnant.

ETA- Duh! Forgot the PIP. LOL! Seems my Re's office does "socks" as well. I found these on the stir ups of the u/s table.. Haha

I'm glad the lap went well, hopefully you'll feel better once you heal. I felt so much better after my lap (I used to get horrible AF pains and after the lap things have been so much better since the surgery).

I'm sorry the SA was still crappy. I totally understand the just wanting to have sex and get pg. Why can't it be that easy, huh? Grrrr....

Sorry that it looks like the clomid didn't help. I know that bad S/As can really effect everyones mood and outlook. And as for having to possibly take a six or seven month break before IVF? Totally feel the sadness & anger there! But I will say, these last five months have gone by faster than I thought they would back in June. I hope you get a BFP sooner...But if you do have to wait for mid 2012, know that the break can be slightly liberating and good for your marriage. Don't get me wrong, it's sucks that we are not PG right.this.instant! But there are some good things to come of it too. Much love & ((hugs)) to you and your DH while figuring things out!
