Or am I the only one? I am going to be 34w this week and we still don't have a name set for this little guy. Poor second children... always getting the shaft ![]()
I am actually pretty frustrated by this... if anyone has any suggestions, send them my way.
Re: Has anyone else not named their LO yet?
We don't name our children before hand. We take a list of names we like (and don't share them with anyone) and name our child based on what he looks like and such. I have seen so many people have a name picked out and then change their minds in the hospital because he/she didn't fit that name.
Our list consists of 6 names we agree on together and what the middle name will be....I guess only time will tell what this little one will be named.

This is pretty much us!
Only because you are asking for it (so please have a sense of humor, or I'll be hiding in the back of the lurkers closet for a long while).
Take some valuable lessons from Hollywood and choose names that have never been properly associated with being names. Jason Lee's son is named Pilot Inspektor, (it's totally unique and totally original, because who else would name their child that?). Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter is Apple (favorite food is anyone's guess). Courteney Cox named her child Coco in honor of of a nickname she used to have.

Perhaps nature should be your inspiration. The 60's have been trying to make a comeback for eons, so commemorate the times with you're own little Sunshine Petals Sparkles, or Sapphire Moonbeam Macaroni, or Dandelion Sunset Mosquito.
I hope that helps. Or at the very least had you laugh away some of your frustrations. Although I do love my advice, I would not be offended if you decided to opt for the other posters advice on naming the baby after delivery. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

This! We have our birthcenter orientation next week where we are going to be filling out some paperwork for the birth certificate. My main question is whether they will let us go home with a nameless baby. We just have no good ideas!
