We are trying to avoid inducing labor. I am 2cm 50%effaced.. We had a false alarm Friday and were sent home.. I have been trying everything as far as walking, sex, spicy food, bouncing and rotating on my birthing ball and nothing since Friday, just minor cramps&contractions.. So today at my appointment my Dr. swept my membranes and said if the baby is ready, I'll be in labor within 24-36 hours...
So, for those who have had their membranes swept, what was your result? What signs led you to believe it worked and you were in labor? Tell me everything you experienced and how long it took for you to go into labor? I'm so EXCITED ![]()
Thanks Ladies

With DS, membranes were stripped at 11am, contractions started at 4pm. Went into hospital at 1am, had baby at 11pm.
