How is everyone handling all the time off from work? Does your boss know why you?re taking off so much?
For myself, I have to take an hour of sick leave for every appt and I have 4 appt?s per cycle. Oct and Nov is our really busy time at work (late nights and working on the weekend), so I was dreading my boss asking me why so much leave and at the most inconvenient time of the year, but so far he hasn?t said anything. Hopefully he keeps it that way!
Re: Time off from work
Luckily I'm able to schedule all of my appointments early in the morning so I go before work.
My Re office opens at 7am and they have satellite offices as well in the area. I usually have my ultrasounds before 8am and it gives me enough time to get to work. The only appts I have had to take time off for are the actual IUI's.
My boss was getting suspicious. I didn't want to tell her because I felt like I'd get upset..which I did...but I've never gotten any hassle about it. But, I do feel like some coworkers are wondering what's going on.
My RE also opens at 7AM, but that's what time I start work. Luckily I work from home 3 out of 5 days a week, so I rearrange my schedule accordingly with my boss, so I don't think it's noticeable with my coworkers. But I'm sure my boss is probably wondering what's going on.

I felt the need to tell my boss (and it went really well) since I have to take off either a half day or whole day for appointments that I can't get before or after school starts. No taking a long lunch or an hour here or there which sucks. However it's only Nov. and I only have 1.5 days left for this school year (that's until the beginning of June!). So if this cycle doesn't work, we'll be taking a break until next summer.
