ok to wear pants to my own shower, right?

I'd pair black pants w/ a festive/dressy top and flashy jewelry and strappy/sparkly black shoes, so that would be okay, right?

I have a few dresses, but I'm not sure they would work so well if it's cold...

I usually wear dresses TO showers and for my last showers w/  my first pregnancy - but those were all in the summer.  Winter is a whole other thing. I just don't want to have to run out and buy a dress that will probably only be worn once, KWIM?

    If that's what you want to wear, I say go for it. I wore black leggings, a cute top and flats to my shower. I was comfortable and that's what is important.

    At first I read this "in the shower" and I, of course, had to open the post.  I say pants are totally fine.  I wore maternity jeans to one of mine.

    I just re-read my own post title and thought it sounded very MC-ish, since we all know she has issues wearing pants ;)

    I can just see my guests saying "for God's sake, put some pants on!" or something.
