How long does the trigger stay in your system?

I got a trigger done 12 days ago (I'm 11dpo now). Should I still wait a few more days to test? I'm scared I'll test and get a fake BFP. That might send me over the edge. Lol

I think you should be fine. Every cycle is diff, but mine were always out by 10 days.

My RE said 14 days. Mine was always gone by 6 days. But it can vary a lot for different people. I'd hold out if you can. A positive might still be trigger, and a negative wouldn't necessarily mean anything. This from the girl who POAS every day of the 2WW... I don't recommend that approach though. It will drive you crazy.

I've done that the last 2 cycles. I need more internet cheapies to do that this cycle & think it is too late to buy them now. I'm going to test starting next Tue. That will be 11 days past trigger.

i read that for every 1,000 whatever it is (mg, units whatever) of HCG you use its a day - so like mine was 10,000 so 10 days BUT my RE wanted me to wait the full 14 for the beta - and they didn't reccomend me testing early either - so everyone is def different! if you do POAS just have an open mind that it may not be accurate!
