Dr. or no Dr?

Hi Ladies....not sure what to do DS just got over the stomach bug and now seems to have a cold....he has no fever, happy..just a horse voice small cough...my main concern is he has had some yellow coming out of the tear ducts on both eyes. It is not pink eye because his eyes do not appear pink to me. He wakes up with all the wet yucky and crust stuff on his eyes. not sure if doc can do anything for this anyway. would you take LO to doctor? I want to make the decision today since we are approaching the holiday and I can't take off work next week if it gets worse :)

    I would go. It could be pink eye even if his eyes are not pink. Plus, with the holiday coming up, it's better to be safe than sorry. If he needs medicine, you definitely don't want to have to wait until next week to get it.

    I would see the doctor. Molly had similar symptoms and it turned out to be an ear infection.

    Yep same here.  I recall DS being diagnosed with Pink Eye or Conjunctivitis even when his eyes weren't pink.  They'll probably give you a script for some drops that will clear it up in no time.

    Every time my girls have yellow gunk coming from their eyes, they have EIs. I definitely get it checked out.

    Thanks ladies off to doc at 2...feel so bad for him just got over the throwing up and diarhea Friday now this....
