Babies: 9 - 12 Months

At the dmv.....

To renew my drivers license because it expires on Thanksgiving(my bday). I tried to renew it back in march when I went for my new address and they wouldn't let me because it was more than 6 months from expiring. Looks like I get the joy of spending another day at the dmv! Seriously, this place always takes forever

  • Yuck. That has got to be annoying. Does it really take all day? I have maybe waited an hour here, and that is pushing it.  Either way, its very annoying.

  • I had to do the same thing yesterday.  Luckily, there's a mobile DMV in our local library once a week, so I was in and out in 20 minutes.  Which is great, because I don't think DD would've lasted much longer! Good luck.

  • Last time I was here for 3 and a half hours! I live in a fairly big city(charlotte nc) so I don't know if that has anything to do with it and back in january one of the other dmvs in my area closed down, which made this one much busier. Maybe I just go on the wrong days lol. But yea it takes awhile. It seems to be moving quicker this morning so I'm hoping it will only be an hour and a half.

  • In my state, you can renew online and they'll mail you a photo ticket. You just take the ticket into the photo room at the DMV (which is conveniently right inside the door) and get your picture taken. 20 seconds later a new license is printed and you're out the door. It's usually less than 5 minutes from parking the car until you're pulling back out of the parking space.

Now if only we could get the DMV online services guys to re-organize the Parking Authority... but then we wouldn't have a tv show.

  • When I lived in TX I renewed online too. I think you can do it every other time and they just use your old picture.  I have yet to get my TN license, I'm scared I will have to retake the test Indifferent

  • I took mine to a AAA office to get it renewed this time, no wait, I was out in about 5 minutes. I despise having to go to the DMV!

I was bored... here you go. Looks like you're good, unless your current license has been expired for +6 months. Get that schit done before it expires. No one wants to parallel park between the cones again!
