Anyone know if such a thing exists?
I get really bad dry skin. It's bad all year round but gets severe in the winter. Unfortunately DD has inherrited my same problem. Before I got pregnant I started taking some Omega 3 supplements and after a few months I noticed my dry skin problem had pretty much disappeared. I did some research via Dr. Google and apparently shinier hair and dry skin issues being resolved are two perks of taking this supplement.
I've been taking it inconsistently through my pregnancy even though my OB said it was okay. But now that it's winter and my dry skin has worsened I've gotten back in the habit of taking it and it's definitely making a difference. If there's any possible way I can give DD some relief via the same method I'd love to give it a shot!
I wouldn't start anything w/o a Pedi's go ahead but just want to know if anyone has even heard of Fish Oil Supplements for kids this age. TIA!
Re: Fish Oil Supplement for LO?
We got this liquid fish oil for DD from our local health food market.

When I give it to her I mix it with her milk or juice.
Absolutely! Fish oil is a major source of DHA (which is necessary for brain development), so there are lots of options for giving fish oil to kids!
My favorite is Barleans's Omega Swirl. DD and I both take it -- it's yummy. You can't taste the fish at all -- it seriously tastes like lemon flavored ice cream syrup or something. DON'T buy it online, though -- but it from a local health food store that keeps it refrigerated. If it gets hot, it goes bad -- the fish oil taste starts coming out and doesn't go away when it's re-refrigerated.
DD has also taken a fish oil supplement from Animal Parade -- Animal Parade Omega 3/6/9 Junior Softgels.
