Has anyone used InStep Safari Double Jogger

Has anyone used this stroller?  It seems like it has good reviews and I was hoping to find a good side by side for outdoor walks

I was also wondering how realistic it would be to use a side by side in a mall, especially in the department stores.  Or would I be better off having a tandem stroller in addition to a side by side

Re: Has anyone used InStep Safari Double Jogger

  • A side-by-side will be fine for most department stores, big box stores, and some grocery stores (with wide aisles).  Most side-by-sides fit through most doors.  My BOB Duallie (very very wide) even fits through the door at my neighborhood library which is a 1950s era building with narrow-ish doors.

That being said, I have a Baby Jogger City Select tandem for most of my shopping.  I prefer not taking up 90% of every aisle and being able to go into smaller, more crowded aisles.  For example, there is NO WAY I could shop at my local Gymboree or LOFT with my side-by-side.

I have a tandem in my car and my side-by-side in my garage.  With very little exception, they stay there.  I love my Duallie for long walks and runs and my BJCS for everything else.

I know nothing about the InStep.

Even still, you gave some great insight.  Thank you.
