Really MIL?

I normally like my mil but this past week shes really been getting on my nerves. Shes not one of those "over bearing" types that gets involved in your business, but quite the opposite, she cancels and flakes all the time.

This past week she was suppose to come on a day trip with us, she cancelled the morning of stating that she didn't feel well. Her and I were suppose to go shopping today, she cancels last night and says she forgot about a mandatory meeting.

About 5 mins ago she calls DH and asks if we can bring the Ham to Thanksgiving. Oh really? because like 4 days ago when we asked it was dessert... yeah FOUR DAYS AGO, when I went to the store and bought all the ingredients for it. Now suddenly you want me to whip up the main course? WTF?!?!

Oh and btw she decided to mention that even though she said she'd watch A on BF she changed her mind to watch other BILs kids, because she figured my mom could just stay home and watch her. NICE.

    Ugh, that's annoying. I wouldn't count on her for much anymore. Maybe when she realizes you don't make plans with her she'll get the hint!

    We already dont count on her for "real" babysitting. 3 times in a row she cancelled when we had to work, one time she called an hour after she was suppose to be here and another time she never called at all!! She always acts like I'm just going to miss conasta or something... I have to WORK.

    She makes comments about how she "has 10 grandkids and its hard to keep up", but gawd its like she isn't even trying at all.
