 So I finally have a chance to update :)

This is how it all went. 

Friday i had the membrane sweep and lost the mucous plug that night and my show got continually bloodier during saturday with period like cramping regularly all day. By Saturday night the cramping was about 8 minutes apart and I went to bed to listen to my hypno birth thing. At 11:30 pm I suddenly got more painful contractions right down low and after about 3 of them my waters broke. I called my friend/support person and she came over at 12:30am. I was very shaky and scared. I had a warm shower and calmed down and sat on the fitball for a while and we left for the hospital at 2am and at that point I could hardly walk.

Had to be wheeled in a wheelchair to delivery  ward. Had an internal and was only 3cm dilated. I was disappointed at that progress. Was in alot of pain and asked for epidural but was coping ok just using the gas. 

Contractions got hard and fast very quick. I was feeling the urge to push but trying not to as i was still thining i was only 3cm.

The doctor cam to put the epidural in and i was struggling with contractions non stop. They told me to stay perfectly still as i sat on the side of the bed hugging my friends neck , he got the epidural needle in and I just stood up and the doctor said "theres a head"

They were all shocked and then i just pushed the rest of her body out. Amazing.

I truely believe the hypno birth did help me just focus. My midwife friend said I was very in control and pretty much breathed my baby out. she was very proud of me. I never even really spoke during the whole birth . 

I had no stitches and my vag seems like nothing even happened  to it lol. Im home and breastfeeding is going well , I think my milk is coming in now.

Sorry if its too long a story but im so proud of myself. Proud that my body finally laboured by itself with out any intervention or induction.She was 7lb 1oz.
