converting crib to full size bed....help
Has anyone coverted crib to a full size bed without purchasing the conversion kit? I would prefer to use a metal bed frame versus the pricey wood ones. It'll be covered up with a bed shirt so I am not thinking about how it looks. Thanks!!!

We bought the whole kit and kaboodle when we got got the crib. I think Rosie did it with rails though, but they are on vacay.
