    We went when he opened - we were the only one there and we were there for like 30 minutes (not because they were slow - but he spent that time warming up to her. LOL. He opened at 10AM today - they have his schedule on the mall website. He was super nice! :)

    we always make it a point to go when it opens in the middle of the week.  santa is in a good mood and there aren't many kids there.  santa starts at 10 :)  if you want to go next week we can go together.

    More Santa Rookie questions ...

    Does it cost money? Like, do you have to buy the pictures or make a donation? Or do you just go up and take your own pictures?

    I'm oddly very nervous about this.

    You have to buy the pictures.  Someone mentioned a free Santa in Georgetown (don't remember where, help me out?) where you can take your own pics.

    We went today and Santa was fantastic!  He was very patient and spent a lot of time talking to DS.  He had such a kind, sweet voice.  DD had different thoughts though, she screamed her head off!
