My 7 month old goes to sleep about 6-6:30. No matter what I do, he will not go to bed later. He falls asleep playing if I let him. He will usually wake up about 2 am and eat. I figure that's been 8 hours. I would be hungry too. Then he is up for the day at 5:30.
LO takes a nap in the early evening between 5 and 7pm for 45 mins or so then is up til between 8/9pm. She did but now does not STTN. Wakes up twice to feed then is in bed til 7/8am. I have tried many things, I just hope this passes. If she misses naps even the evening one she sleeps far far worse.

Bedtime was 9 at 6 months and she slept till 8 or 8:30 (when hubby didn't wake her getting ready for work). Two weeks ago she changed her bedtime to 8 (sometimes it's closer to 8:20, but if it's any later she wakes up at 6) and she get's up between 7:45 and 8. She STTN.
DD is 7 mos and goes to sleep 6-630 and sleeps until 6ish. At 6 mos she had the same bedtime, but would wake close to 5 for a feeding and then go back to sleep until 645. DD still has many nights where she'll wake up, I usually let her fuss it out for a few min and she'll go back to sleep. I can tell b/t her fuss and cry, if it's a cry I go in and rub her back, shhh and replace paci, more than often she'll go back down. She has a couple more teeth coming in so last night I had to pick her up and rock her for a bit because I could tell she wasn't feeling well.
My DS is 6 months and his bedtime is by 8:00. Sometimes earlier if he missed his last nap of the day, but never before 7:15 or so. He does sttn about 90% of the time. When he does wake, there is really no soothing him without feeding, and I'm okay with that. I figure if he wakes on a rare occasion, I have to assume that means he needs something.
His wake time, sttn or not, is pretty unpredictable. Some nights he sleeps the whole night through until 7 or 8 am, other mornings he is awake at 5-6am. Either way, he stays awake for about an hour and then takes another nap :-) But he's still a big napper -- about once every two hours throughout the whole day.
She is usually in bed between 6-7 and usually sleeps through the night. She wakes up for the day between 530-7. When she does wake up during the night, she always eats.

LO goes down about 7:30pm and used to sleep until 7:30am....5:30am is the new 7:30am in our home. Sometimes he does wake up but we just pat him back to sleep or he will babble or fuss himself back to sleep. If he gets going with a cryfest I will nurse him.
Asleep by 7:00 pm and sleeps through until 5:30 or 6:30 am, diaper change and good feeding and then back to sleep until about 8:00am. I feel lucky! Sometimes, he'll have that rare night where he wakes up at 12a.m. but I just let him cry and he's not screaming. Just fusses for a few minutes and goes back to sleep. That's if I know he's not teething, sick or something is wrong.
now dd goes to bed at 7:30ish and wakes around 7. she was waking up a million times at night and would only fall asleep nursing. we did ferber sleep training about a week ago and she's been sleeping straight through since about the third night.
DS's bedtime is whenever he falls asleep, which is around 9 or so. However, I have to give him a bottle when I go to bed at 11 or he wakes up a lot during the night. Even after giving him that 11 o'clock bottle he still wakes up usually twice to eat. Ever since he was 4 months or so it seems like he eats more frequently at night than during the day. I don't even know what to do to reverse this. Sorry for threadjacking, I'm just frustrated.

I don't understand these babies that sleep for TWELVE HOURS! Mine goes to bed around 8:45 PM and wakes between 6 and 7. Rarely he'll sleep a little past 7. It's great that he often does sleep through the night, or at least if he makes little crying sounds (waknig us up) he goes back to sleep by himself, but I can't imagine him ever sleeping for 12 hours overnight. I don't think there is any way he'd go to bed earlier. And he usually naps only 2.5-3 hours per day. I guess he is just not a big sleeper....

So many different schedules!

she naps around 9:30-11:00 and 2:15-4:00 ish.
DD goes to sleep around 7:30-8:00. She STTN, and wakes up around 7-7:30am.
She sometimes will wake up while trying to find a comfortable spot, but with her paci and a quick little back rub, she'll be back to sleep.
Let me point out that this is her normal routine... There are obviously random days where she'll have a more difficult night!
