Do any of you use something other than the plastic bags provided in the produce section? I've seen people with alternatives, but I don't know what they're made of or where to find them.
The muslin/cotton ones are good for buying loose bulk foods like rice and beans. The sellers have quite a few options if you don't like these exact ones. And there are tons of other similar products on etsy.

WF has some that are made of a mesh material. Makes me think that you could re-use a clean laundry bag, which would be even more EF than buying something new.
Honestly, I barely ever use produce bags. I was in WF last night and saw a guy putting a butternut squash in one and kind of laughed to myself. Its not like the squash is going to leak out a liquid! The only time I can think of that we use the bags is if we're buying meat at the store (instead of the farmer). I'm definitely not cool with blood leaking around my re-usable bags. Though, I suppose we could probably get a wet-bag for that if we bought our meat at the store more regularly.
Hope you find something that works for you!
