Is anyone's LO a hair puller?

I wear my hair up a lot and Savannah totally grabs it at the base of my neck if I am carrying her up on my shoulder.  Those little bitty hands sure can grab a lot of hair. It hurts too.  She has a really strong  grip, lol! Anybody else got a hair puller on their hands?  Not sure if there is really any way to get her to stop.  Other than just turning her around a different way.  Guess she is just training for when she has to defend herself from big brother like I had to do with my brothers.

    Yep! Right at the base. I wonder, how much hair can that little hand grab!! And he grabs the skin on my neck....by the fist full!!!

    Yup, she's definitely started grabbing fistfulls. She has also started pulling.g the dog's ears and tail.

    I have a hair puller too. She is SO grabby lately she will grasp her little hands on anything she can.

    The other day, she grabbed my pump  cord and then grabbed the tubes.  I had to work them out of her hands!!  LOL!

    Yes.  I know she doesn't understand me right now but when she does it I say (in a nice voice, not angry)- "ouch, that hurts mommy!".

    i also have a hair-puller.  she chews on it too.  i had to stop wearing dangling earrings for fear of earring pulling...  i know it's just a phase.  but a painful one!

    I know, she grabs my necklaces too.  I have been mainly wearing my inexpensive stuff for that reason!!

    Yep...she would either grab a handful on each side and pull or grab up under my hair when I had it up and pull.  It's a wonder I have any hair left between that and the non-stop shedding.  Cutting it short really seemed to help with the hair pulling.  Not for everyone, but it's definitely saved my sanity.

    I made the  mistake of having hoop earrings in one morning.  Never again.

    I have a hair puller too.  It's getting so bad that a few times DH has had to pry LO's hands open to get my hair out.

    Oh yes, definitely. I wear my hair up 95% of the time and he'll pull from my temple.  Ouch!  If there is a way to discourage this I'd LOVE to hear.
