c-section versus vaginal delivery? Who's had both?

I had a c/s with DD#1. I'm planning on attempting VBAC with #2. I have been hearing awful stories lately about tearing and bladder issues and chronic hemmies. I'm wondering if a repeat c/s would be a better option as far as recovery. I had a really easy time with DD#1. Anyone had both and care to weigh in?

    I can't give any advice as I had a RCS with DD#2 in September but you might want to post this on the VBAC board.  They might be helpful in answering your questions.  Good luck!

    My SIL had a natural VBAC with #2. She was in great shape to begin with, but really had no issues. One stitch.

    Had both. And no issues with the VBAC, no tearing at all. I found the recovery much easier with the VBAC but I did have full labour before my C.

    4 losses (cp Feb 28 09, mc April 9 09 (5w5d), mc Aug 10 09 (7w1d), d&c Apr 12 10 (grew to 6w3d, mc confirmed at 8w5d). RX: Overies PCOS (hormones normal) & Balanced Translocation of Ch. 7 & 13 (40-50% mc risk)

    Whoa someone has their panties in a bunch. Chill out. obviously, your vag doesn't blow up. In all seriousness, uterine rupture scares the crap out of me. But many people have vbacs successfully. Look at the Duggar chick ;).

    I don't wanna hear it hookers.  I had both AT THE SAME TIME!!!   (35 minutes apart to be exact) No 

     That being said, I would do a c-sec again.  The whole VBAC thing scares me.

    I'm calm. I just said it was an ignorant thing to say, which it was. I didn't realize you weren't serious.  It came off that way to me espeically since you said to flame away. Sorry didn't mean to cause any drama.
