2.5 days for me: Lost it on my EDD (a Friday), then started contractions on Sunday (30 mins apart that morning). Went to hospital around 1:00am Monday morning when contractions were 3 mins apart, and delivered on Monday evening at 7:18pm. Wasn't in active labor until 5pm Monday.
Both me and my SIL were one week from the day we lost it.

Pretty sure I lost mine this morning. Guessing it will regenerate itself. I did have a scare with preterm labor about 3 weeks ago and I have TONS of Braxton Hicks daily, especially at night, but no real labor here.

With DD, I lost it at 37 weeks and delivered at 41 weeks. This time around, I think I am currently losing it (lost it all at once with DD, losing it in chunks this time), and I'm still pregnant. It's been coming out for the last 3 days.
loss of your MP means basically nothing - sorry! my OB actually told me it wasn't even something I should bother calling them about or even telling them. You don't even always lose it before labor begins
I was in labor when I lost mine. Water broke 3am. Contractions started 4am, followed almost immediately by mucus plug coming out. It came out all at once in 2 big globs. I was showering before we headed to the hospital.

You can lose it more than once-- as in, you lose it and then you form/grow/whatever another one.
That's what happened to me. I lost my first mucus plug at around 34 weeks. I don't know when the 2nd one came out, but the doc confirmed at one of my last prenatal appts that it was in there.
