I have a wedding dress that's been altered, but never worn hanging in my closet. I need to get rid of it. Is there any place local that will take it? Resale or consignment, not CL.
Brides Against Breast Cancer would accept it on donation.
If you are set on selling it then I would just look into women's consignment or upscale consignment shops.
Why not CL? Too many weirdos? You don't want to be low-balled? I am just curious. DH is always hounding me to sell on CL rather than donate but I don't want to deal with the hassle.
I think there is a dress consignment place near the corner of peachtree and Piedmont in buckhead. I had a friend look into selling a wedding dress there but ended up selling it through an online wedding dress resale site.

I think there is too. You can google it and find the place. I looked into it once but they are pretty picky about brands, age, condition though I'm sure they'd accept yours from the sound of it. (Mine not so much, David's Bridal.)
Try Bridal Sense--I ended up with 2 wedding dresses (huge fiasco) and I sold one there for 1/2 of what I paid for it. I was also brand new with tags still on
Thanks ladies! I checked out a couple places Bridal Sense and I don't know the name of the other one. They have to be 2 years old or newer ( And mine is 6 years old, even though it still looks like a current style. Oh well, I'll just donate it to Brides Against Breast Cancer. Its just a $3000 dress and I was hoping to make a little bit of money from it.

sell it onthat website! My friend did that. It is worth a try! I found out about it from the knot but can't remember the name of it right now. I will ask her.
