How some of them work well as sibsets but some are waaaay off?
Like I love how #147 Oscar and Giselle sound as a sibset,
but #152 Gage and Valentina don't match at all to me.
Other favorite sets that I like so far are:
187. Axel and Delilah
210. Avery and Sienna
232. Lukas and Maci
420. Arturo and Estrella
Re: Have you ever noticed on the SSA List...
Ha! awesome!
Interesting, I'd never thought of that.
Theodore is paired with Josie
Francis is paired with Lilianna
So not too bad.
Wyatt-Kylie (no thanks)
Levi- Katherine (not too bad)
Maverick-Jaelynn (no way)
Amelia (my neice, but was going to be my girl name for Levi) - Luke (meh)
We did this when we were searching for a name for DS#2. We were team green and at the time the girl name that ranked the same as Reed was Nyla. DH really liked it, but I just wasn't onboard. His thought was that it this strategy would yield us an equally "uncommon, but not unheard of or weird name". I thought Nyla was way more obscure than Reed, but that probably has something to do with the 2 spellings of Reed.
This year:
Reed- Cynthia
Pierce- Anahi (what?, I don't know how to pronounce this one)
Our boy choices for future boy: Brooks (Kailyn-yuck) and Grant (Lila- nice)
This is our first and her name is going to be Molly. It's paired with Blake, which isn't my style, but I don't HATE as a name.
However, I would NEVER use the name because I work in schools and every Blake I have met has been a terror. I'm impressed that I don't have more names that I wouldn't touch because of kids I work with, but nope, Blake is the main one....
