Any other hunting widows?

DH is gone for the 2nd weekend in a row to go deer hunting. I'm glad he is able to get away to unwind but I can't wait for all this duck and deer hunting to be over!!

I'm not a hunting widow.. I'm a lacrosse widow. DH coaches and does private lessons, so as long as there is daylight, he is working. He's only home when its dark out or raining.

I've been a football widow for about 6 years now. My husband coaches high school football so during the fall he is gone all the time. He works 6:30-3:00 and then practice until about 6 or 6:30, Monday nights they review films so he's gone until 9 at night, Fridays they have games at night and then he goes out with the coaches so he's gone until 1 am and then Sunday mornings they meet to go over stuff for the week from 8-12 am. I'm used to it by now though haha

Before DH was a principal he taught 4th grade and coached wrestling...those were long winters!!!

ME ME lol glad he can get away and relax! Hoping he gets a deer we need venison in the freezer. And it is soo nice to have the bed all to myself and not worry about getting hit with his elbows lol.

DH is finished hunting for the season. All finished with elk and deer. No more week long trips away as a single parent!

My man is out hunting right now...I am hoping he gets his deer today!! When he bought three tags I knew it was going to be a long haul:)

I'm not a hunter myself, but the thought of sitting in the woods for several hours and watching the sun rise sounds good to me...hmmm...maybe he'll be doing the morning routine with the kids next weekend...
