A tooth!?

So I was visiting my Dads side of the family and my step sister noticed that O had a tooth! Or at least a hard little white thing coming out of my dd's bottom gum. Its off to the side a bit so I was a bit surprised. I expected her first teeth to come in the bottom middle. Any thoughts or experiences? Just want to know I am not crazy. Also could this be something other than a tooth?

    A cyst? I can't remember what exactly it was called, but I read about it in WTE The First Year. I'd look it up for you, but I don't want to wake DS :P

    Its a hard and white. I dont know. She is sleeping right now. I am going to get a better look tomorrow and call her pedi if I have any concerns. I am just curious if any other Aug babies have teeth yet.

    I just looked up the epstein pearl and I seriously think thats what it is! A lot of the info I found on the pearls says its in newborns and will disappear 1-2 weeks after birth.. but obviously they happen in older kids.. It says they resolve by themselves..

    My son had his first two bottom teeth by 2.5 months old. No joke.
