Same here. I actually found out DD was a girl on sort of the spur of the moment and H wasn't there (the u/s wasn't planned) so he wants to find out and I don't. But we plan to have a 3rd and he agrees that we will be Team Green for that one, no matter what.
We are definitely finding out as soon as we can. I am too impatient to not know. Plus, I want to decide on a name, finish the nursery, buy lots of stuff, and so on.
BFP on 1/1/11; pPROM at 19 weeks; Jameson Thomas born on 4/5/11 at 20 weeks.
Imagine a love so strong that saying hello and goodbye the same day was worth the sorrow.
We will definitely be finding out. I am a planner, so knowing would make me feel more comfortable. I also have 2 bedding sets that I already like. One is pink with owls and the other is gender neutral light yellow with bugs. I'd love to get the pink one, but we want more kids, so even if we do have a girl, I may have to choose the yellow one so it can be re-used if we ever have a boy.
My Ovulation Chart
BFP-11/10/11 ectopic. Methotrexate on 12/1/11. BFP #2-08/17/2012 FX for a ute-baby! 15DPO beta-387 HCG; 36 progesterone
I think it would be really cool not to find out until birth, but I think I will just have to. It seems difficult to buy things (clothes, bedding, etc.) and plan when you don't know the gender....
So far we are on team green....but I am not so sur it's going to last, DH has dropped a few comments about being prepared... so we shall see....it's a long 10 months.
I haven't decided yet... DH wants to find out I think...

50mg Monitored Clomid Oct 2011 (5 tablets this time) = BFN turned BFP 9th november 2011!
I would love to be surprised - but I also want to plan and I have boxes of girl baby clothes from a co-worker, I need to know if I'm keeping it or donating it on
We found out with our first, and so we will find out with our second as well. We are both big on planning things out and are both very impatient to know!

I don't think we will be finding out. DH doesn't want to know and if I find out without him there's no way I'll keep it a secret. Plus I have all kinds of ideas for an adorable yellow and gray nursery!
We are not going to find out. I really just want to find out in the delivery room. I think it is more climatic for everyone. We are going to do a beach themed nursery, with blues, yellows and greens. Most of the pre-fab bedding sets are gender specific which does make being prepared more difficult, but I actually worked for an independent baby store for 8 years and saw many ideas for gender neutral rooms. I am not worried about having the clothes. I will pick up a few newborn outfits for each gender, and there will be plenty of time after the baby comes!
We will definitely be finding out. DH wants to 'prove' that his family only produces boys. We shall see. Plus, I am a major planner. I have been eyeing up nursery ideas forever!
Haha! This only DH claims his one and only X super sperm got through last time!

I already looked into elective gender ultrasounds as early as week 15. Yes, we are finding out! I don't know if I can last until week 15! I spent all weekend analyzing my sonogram against the Ramzi theory!
I can see the benefits of both finding out and the surprise but because DH really wants to know we are finding out.
TTC since 2009 started going to RE 5/2011:
Polyp removed/hypothyriod 6/2011
7/2011 IUI#1 w/ 150 Follistim/Ovidrel trigger BFN
8/2011 IUI#2 w/225 Follistim/Ovidrel trigger BFN

7/2013 Back to RE because my uterus is OLD
We did NOT find out with DD and will NOT find out this time either. That moment in the delivery room is one that I will never forget! I was able to hear from my DH the gender of our child and for us, that was worth the wait.

We are not finding out. This is our last and we have always found out. Our car seat is gender nutral and lo will be in my room till he/she is at least 6 months old so we will do the nursery after birth.
I love the idea of not finding out. But after I give birth the last thing I want to do is go shopping...granted if it's a third boy I wouldn't have to worry as we have everything we could ever possibly need, but in that slight chance it's a girl, I want to be prepared!
I am finding out!!! I am a planner! My first daughter was a surprise. She wouldn't turn for the ultrasound so I had no clue what she was before she arrived. With my son and other daughter we knew and it made it easy to shop. I am already picking out boy and girl favorite items! I am way ahead of myself in this pregnancy!
we are definitely finding out! but DH doesn't just want a boy...he's decided it is a boy. so i'm looking forward to the u/s can't wait to see his face if its a girl! even though i would like a boy

DH is a radiologist so the only way to not find out is for him to skip all of the ultrasounds, which he isn't willing to do.
