Not sure about MDs but wanted to remind you Whitney is on vacation so she might take a few days to reply. I know I always feel discouraged when I post (a rare event) and no one promptly replies. I'm sure she knows someone good though, so no worries
My Ob was Dr Gallagher with Eagle Creek OBGYN - Not in downtown but she is paired with Methodist if you friend is wanting to deliver a baby there? She is on the west side.
I go to IU Women's Health at Methodist Hospital downtown. They are located in the professional building that is connected to the hospital. I like that it is a small group - the MD is Claire Bernardin and her NP is Deb Latran. Everyone from the receptionist on up has always been so kind and helpful. I started going there after a nurse recommended them to me a few years ago, and have been very satisfied. The only downside is having to pay for parking : )

Ditto! I LOVE Dr. Bernardin, and Deb too. In my line of work I see good and bad NPs and Deb is great. I saw her for many of my early OB appointments and was totally comfortable with her managing my pregnancies in those stages. I also think the receptionist and nurses are wonderful. I really like knowing that Dr. Bernardin would definitely be the one who delivered me since she is a solo practitioner. She is very straightforward and no-nonsense, which was a good fit for me. She was compassionate when we had a scare with one of my pregnancies but didn't sugarcoat it either and immediately referred me to a subspecialist. She has a ton of experience and bottom line is that I would highly recommend this practice!
p.s. sorry for the delay - as mentioned above I just got home from vacation!
