I am considering buying a monitor b/c I am fed up w/ the boys' (lack of) napping right now. They both are suuuuuper cranky pants if they don't take a nap, but for the past 2 weeks, neither have!
So, I think I remember you saying that your monitor has two way audio. Is that right? And is it possible to have two monitors in the same house (do they have separate channels)?
Talk to me.

Re: rssnlvr (and others w/ the same monitor)
I've got the same one as rssn and yes, it does have a two way audio. You press a little button on top and can talk into the room. I don't know about two in the same house though. Here's a link to the product on amazon--maybe the specs will tell you?

It says it's unavailable, but I know it was available just a week or two ago. Maybe you could google and find elsewhere?
No naps, no bueno. Good luck!
Yes! We have two different models of motorola monitors, and they both have two-way audio. They are digital monitors, so there's no interference or static.
This is the one we have that has the room temp display, lullaby capabilities, etc.
This is the other one we have. Not as fancy-schmancy, but still with 2-way audio.
perfect. that non fancy-schmancy should do the trick!
So if you say something to DD on the 2way like "go back to sleep", when did she understand you are talking to her through the monitor? How awesome. I need this feature.
