R.I.P "Mom's little man"

Xander had not pooped in 4 days. FI and I were wondering what was going to happen when he finally did. We found out just a little bit ago! It was all up his back and down his legs! The victim onesie was one of my favorites :( the "Mom's little man" one in my siggy. FI doesnt think that it is possible to get that stain out so, in the garbage it goes. Note to self: if LO has not pooped for 3 or more days, dress him in something that you dont mind losing!

  • Aww don't throw it out! We have th same one, and actually it fell victim to an assplosion. But Oxiclean got the stain right out. I just rinsed and waited until it was dry to apply it. Hope this helps!

  • awww! At least he got it out! He just have been so happy after that one though! BTW, we have that onsie for Connor too, but he outgrew it about a month ago... I wish I had bought a few more in bigger sizes.

  • I agree with the PP.  Give oxyclean and try and if you still have a stain left, try sunning. It works wonders--even on old stains!

  • That's sad. :(

Lydia ruined a few of her cute clothes that way, too. Well...at least you have pics of it! : )

  • It can be saved!!! Dab it with some water and put it in the sun. I did this with a white patterned outfit and the poop came out. I'm talking the yellow stainey poop, too!

  • Thanks for the Oxiclean suggestion ladies! I will pick some up to use in the future. I am not going to bother with this onesie since he was about to outgrow it anyways. It just sucks because its my favorite and I thought he was going to get another couple of wears out of it.
  • I would have washed it and kept as a souvenir :)

  • We use Spray n Wash to get poop stains out of C's assplosion onesies. Just saturate the stain and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then toss it in the wash.

I agree w/PP - If it was my fav, I'd wash it up and keep it as a souvenir. ;)

  • Before you throw it out, try rubbing it really good with Ivory bar soap and then rinsing it out.

  • Ollie did the same yesterday to C, I was out with my mom. Luckily it was in Halloween Jammies so no big loss.

My life has a superb cast but I can't figure out the plot.
  • That's how I get my DD to poop... Put her in something nice, or take her somewhere that a diaper change will be a PITA. Never fails - monster poops are inevitable.
  • I rinse them in warm water then soak them in Spray-N-Wash. It takes the worst stains right out! I even got stains out of some clothes given to me by a friend who's baby is 2 now. Don't throw it out!
