6 week growth spurt anyone?

I think the growth spurt has started again.  DS has been fussy, hard to get to sleep, and he wants to eat all the time.  To make matters worse, my cat has suddenly started meowing every time the baby cries.  She's driving me nuts!  Anyone else going through a growth spurt period right now?  At least I know things should go back to normal in a few days!

    I think we are. Not with the eating b/c I have a major oversupply problem so she fills up a lot. It's the sleeplessness, We had to go to the pedi Thurs evening for blood in her stool and when they weighed her, we saw she gained 11oz. in 7 days! If she would just sleep. She fights and fights then wakes right up again.

    I think we are starting too. So fussy last night and would not sleep for anything. He's been cluster feeding again too. Hope it ends soon!

    I think we are going through it now too. He was sooo hard to get to sleep yesterday and just wanted to eat. I finally got him to sleep last night around 11 and usually he wakes up every 3 hours (day and night) to eat, so I was expecting to be up around 1:30  (because he ate at 10). I woke up to him crying and felt strangely refreshed, it was 5:45! Since then he was been up every 3 hrs, but just to eat and he is barely awake to do that. He is sooo sleepy! So I'm going to guess last night was a fluke and happened because he's in the sleepy mode of a growth spurt!

    we are i think! he was super hungry and eating all the time, and now today he is sleeping a lot! he does have a little cold though, so Im not 100% sure if the sleep is from a growth spurt or the cold

    I think we are starting one. She is ramping up on the eating and fighting sleep as well.

    Not sure if it's a growth spurt but we've definitely been dealing with fussiness and trouble sleeping. But I had to share that my cat does that too!! I thought normal cats would get scared off by a screaming baby but not mine. She comes closer and joins in! In hindsight it's pretty damn funny but at the time - SO annoying!

    yes! It was awful yesterday... Evie was very fussy, ate a ton, and didn't sleep at all overnight! I looked up online when standard growth spurts are and sure enough there's one at 6w, which she turned yesterday. At least she's punctual, lol! Today she's slept much better, hoping she will tonight too.

    I think we are in a growth spurt. Still sleeping at night, but fighting slepp during the day. She has catnapped all day today. I increased her feeding today beacuse it seemed like she wasn't getting full. We will see what tonight brings...

    I am hoping my LO goes through her growth spurt between now and Wed - we are going away for Thanksgiving and I would rather deal with it at home rather than away!

    that must be what is going on with LO too. definately exhausted but fighting sleep and waking every hour at night! cant wait for it to end :)

    I don't think she's having a growth spurt, but I weighed LO at Babys R Us today and according to their scale and my home one she's gained 1 1/2 lbs. since her wellness check 7 days ago!  Now I'm pissed because I'm sure they weighed her wrong at the hospital and they gave me a lecture about my daughter being malnourished and said she must be latching wrong, etc!  Grrr...

    I am going through the same thing, but he's 7 weeks today.  Monday night LO didn't go down until 3:30am, after being up since about 6pm.  He screamed bloody murder.  It was heartbreaking.

    Last night he slept for almost 8 hours (1215-8) and has been asleep now for the last almost 2 hours.  He definitely feels heavier and looks longer :)

    Yep... started today.  DS has been eating constantly and screams every time I try to put him down.
