Hi Ladies,
This is my official intro! You might remember last week I posted on here asking for advice, because my 1st US @6wks showed 3 gestational sacs, but only 1 had a heartbeat, the other two only had yolk sacs. Well today at my 2nd US @7wks all 3 gestational sacs had little beans with heartbeats!!!
DH and I are very excited, but also a little nervous and scared. We were hoping and praying for 1 baby, and knew that with injectibles there was always the chance of multiples, but never did we expect triplets.
For the triplet moms out there, what were your best resources to prepare you? Did you find a local MoM group? did you buy the triplet connection expectant parent manual? Any initial advice is very welcome.
Look forward to getting to know you all!
Re: US #2= TRIPLETS!!!
I do remember your post from last week and I have been wondering how things turned out for you.
Congrats to you and your DH!! That's a lot of bundles of joy you've got coming your way!!

aw, congrats and welcome!
my best resource was the Dr Luke book. I didn't get any info from TC or MOST, but I did use the forums on TC a lot. (I still post there every once in a while.)
triplets are awesome, and there are lots of us triplet moms on the board, so feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Wow! Congrats!!! We winged it. I wasn't really on the internet when I was pregnant and my MFM told me to stay off of it.
My initial advice is to listen to your body. If you are hungry, then eat. If you are tired, then rest. And you will need a good triplet stroller - one that you can push with one hand. We made a mistake with this. Join a local MoM group - you may be able to find a 2nd hand stroller for a good $.
Wow!! Triplets! Congratulations
I'm sure it'll take a while for the news to sink in--even with "just" twins I sometimes stop and am in awe of what is happening and what WILL be happening when they arrive.
Good luck!
Welcome to the club!
I read Dr Luke's book and every other multiples book I could find, but can't really recommend one more than the other. Check some out from the library if you can. I felt they dealt more with twins than triplets+. I got the best advise from this message board and the wonderful NP at my doctor's office.
