Have you bought any baby clothes ;) ?

I did sneak out the day after my first beta and bought two newborn jammies and newborn onesies that cover their hands....soooooo small and sweet!!! I have a going home outfit hidden that I had before we started our ivf adventure too lol.

Re: Have you bought any baby clothes ;) ?

  • I really want to. I just want to get a few gender neutral things. I also thought about starting to buy diapers and such every check I get, just to be prepared. I haven't made up my mind on cloth diapering or not yet though. I think instead, I'm going to buy a gift card to Target or somewhere each check.

  • I bought some gender neutral blankets yesterday. I also bought an extremely discounted Halloween bib, onesie, and pj set for next year. So yes I'm guilty...,

  • I have a onesie that says "Here comes trouble" that I have to DH when I got my BFP and I may or may not have two Steelers onesies sitting in limbo in my Amazon cart... :)

  • I bought a little gender neutral sleep sack, but I haven't seen any gender neutral clothes that I like yet.

  • Not yet, but the suspense is killing me. I want to buy the coming home outfit so bad. I know exactly what it will be, all picked out, ect. Big Smile

  • I have a TON of baby clothes from DD of course :-) Seriously, if we have a girl we're set. Heck, if we have triplet girls, we're set. But if it's a boy we'll be shopping up a storm in a few months!

If it's a girl, I'll probably buy a couple new things that are *just hers* not hand-me-downs but not much. And I may try to wait until spring/early summer to do most of it because garage sales start back up then and they are great for baby clothes - so inexpensive and you can find stuff in really great shape since most kids don't get much wear out of them, especially the infant sizes.

  • There was a warehouse sale on Thursday at a baby clothing designer across the street from my work, I bought a couple of adorable neutral outfits.  I'm also creating a wish list on Amazon for strollers, car seats, clothes, etc.  I'd love to get as many things off Craigslist or garage sales (yay summer baby) as possible to save money (and be green).  But I also have always wanted to buy baby things so... we'll see.

Yes I've thought about this too! By then, we'll know if it's a boy or girl so we can hit the garage sales in full force!

I haven't bought anything since finding out. However, DH and I are planning to go out to dinner tonight so we want to buy something baby related afterward just to celebrate our BFP. I'd say we'll go with a gender neutral blanket or something. Don't want to go overboard this early in the game! ;)

  • My parents bought baby clothes for my sisters dolls when she was little-so we went to storage and took a big box of baby clothes-they are all washed and folded in what will be the baby's room.

  • DD was a winter baby, so all her old 0-3 month clothes are fleece and long sleeve.  I'll definitely have to invest in some light weight cotton, even if LO is a girl.

But no, we haven't bought anything yet.  We randomly have a lot of birthdays, baby showers and weddings this month, so that's what we've been shopping for.

  • Nope. I don't know when I will. Since we already have everything from DS, I'm not in such a hurry this time. Lst time I did get a couple things while shopping for myself at ON pretty early on.

  • We haven't yet- I want to wait until the new year and MH is agreeable. We're finding out the gender, so I can't imagine too much until then. My best friend and I are taking our annual trip in February, and I'll be out of 1st tri by then, so I'm already saving my pennies :)

  • I'm guilty of buying one item. It's a Winnie the Pooh swaddle blanket or sleepsack, can't remember since it's in a box in the closet. I'm sure once we find out the sex, my mom and MIL will probably be buying a bunch of stuff (I will too, lol).

    What a cute theme!!!!

We haven't bought anything yet, but we have a Burlington opening up down the street and I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket. I told my DH that the nursery furniture can be picked out even if we don't know the gender!! I am making him go look around with me. We may or may not purchase a  nice blanket or onesie...
