Weight Watchers vs South Beach Diet

What have you tried?  What did you like/dislike about it?

  •  I've done both. I personally liked south beach more. I got to obessive about points(this is just my issue). I lost more on weight watchers but was more sane on south beach.

  • I've never tried the south beach diet, but I've been on Weight Watchers since march of last year. Im down about 50lbs and pretty much eat what i want. You just have to try and plan ahead. I still eat pizza, Mcdonalds and almost all of DD halloween candy and still seem to lose weight each week. Hope this helps Good luck

  • I think you need to see what you like most and what your body responds to the best. I have done both.. and i personally like the south beach diet more. I also got obsessive with points and I also like to just try to more food that is not processed lke the WW meals (which don't get me wrong, I have some desserts in my freezer now). But south beach my body totally changed with!

  • I haven't done south beach because I could never not eat fruit.  I absolutely love it.  I did WW for almost nine months and lost 40 lbs on it.  I just didn't like not counting calories.  I use my fitness pal. com now and I really love it.  It counts calories, carbs, fat, protein, sodium, ect.  I treat myself but I've really learned portion control which was so important.
