Temping question..

Since this is my 1st month charting-what do I expect near AF time?  Will my temps get lower before AF arrives or after?  Just wondering if I will have a temp indicator to warn me so I have time to ease into the mental breakdown of seeing AF for the 28th time in a row... Of course I am still feeling REALLY good about my chart but I was just wondering about what could come my way..

    I think everyone is different but I usually have a temp drop the day that AF shows. When are you planning testing? I'm 7dpo and my chart looks ok..... Seeing what tomorrows temp brings. Good luck this month!!

    Thanks for the info and I think your chart looks a little like mine so I hope yours is a good one!  :)  Good luck to you when you test!  When do you plan to?  I am only at 6DPO but I would love to test at 10..not sure if I will have the nerve to do it though..

    Everyone is different, and not only that, but you can see variation from cycle to cycle.  With a 12-13 day LP, my temps usually start dropping on Day 11.  But last month (just to mess with my head), my temps stayed up through and including Day 14.  It can help you prepare a bit, but it isn't foolproof.

    I think if my 11 dpo temp doesn't drop too much then I will be tempted to test. Also thanksgiving is Thursday and I wouldn't want to be drinking alcohol if I was pregnant so definately on Wednesday morning if no sign of  AF. I will be 12dpo Wednesday so that's still early but I will give it a shot and keep my fingers crossed for both of us!

    My temps usually gradually dropped but stayed above cover line around 11dpo. Usually the day I get AF, my temp would drop to cover line. The only time my temps started to gradually drop at around 6 or 7 dpo but stay above coverline was when I got my BFP.  Then around 9 and 10 dpo it remained the same at then shot up again...Good luck to you!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you that you get your BFP!

    If you look at my chart you will see that I had a temp drop at 6dpo but it went back up a little today so maybe yours will too!!! We can always believe its an implantation dip right :-)

    If you look at my chart you will see that I had a temp drop at 6dpo but it went back up a little today so maybe yours will too!!! We can always believe its an implantation dip right :-)
