Last minute tailgating ideas- HELP (please)!

DH and a friend are heading downtown to see the game tonight. He is also meeting up w/ a college friend who moved from MD to Houston.

This is Jon's first UT game and he (we) have NO idea how tailgating works around here. Are there free tailgates? Tailgates that you can pay an entry? Where to go? What to do??

    I have no clue. I just wanted to say that we are going to our first tailgate tonight too. The one we are going to is free...At least our friend told us we don't have to bring anything...I'm hoping that means free.
    DX PCOS 2006 - Off BCPs since 1/09 - TTC #1 4 cycles clomid (50, 100, 150, 200) - FAIL, no O Multiple cycles clomid + femara - FAIL, no O 3 injectable cycles - FAIL Ovarian Drilling 6/2010. Several failed cycles follow. 11/2010 - "Hold" on IF treatment.
    10/24/2011 - Surprise BFP; EDD 6/21/12! BOY!

    My DH will be down there tailgating with friends.  Jon is welcome to join them if he wants.  Tell him to text Miller and they can meet up.  {They'll be close to 18th & San Jacinto.}

    Also (re: parking) we usually park in a garage on Colorado between 16th/17th.  It is $7 and is really easy to get in/out of.

    scholz's is a restaurant/bar at 17th and san jacinto that will be packed and is always fun. he can park in the garage across the street with his parking pass.
