LO and Waving

Is everyone's LO waving?

Whitney just picked it up this week and she is a waving maniac. She waves to the highchair, the dogs, the mail lady, and now while she cries. LOL, too funny. Its insane how less than a week ago I started waving to her and she really picked it up.

Waving is serious business!

Re: LO and Waving

  • DS likes to wave - except for when I try to get him to wave.  He gets so excited doing it that he ends up using his whole arm and then his whole body.  It's quite cute.

  • Eh.  They were okay.  It's hard with him moving so much these days.  I was just thinking I need to update my siggy.  I will have some free time late next week, so I will try to bombard you with pics.

  • DD's idea of waving is waving her entire arm up and down. She hasn't quiet figured out how to use just her hand. She's in bed when H goes to work, so there aren't many changes to really teach her hello/goodbye moments. She loves pointing even more than waving. Whenever anyone walks into the room, she stops what she's doing and points at you. We used to point back, but are now taking the opportunity to wave so hopefully she'll learn the right way.

    Emoticon stories are awesome.

I don't have Cake, but I do have two pies. Not of the Pizza variety - key lime and chocolate. You need to Travel or Automobile here. time is ticking! I can't have Coffee or Drinks, but we could go to the Paradise. I'm getting tired of talking to you only on the Computer. Broken Heart

  • No waving.  We've been working on clapping, which she now does when Jeopardy comes on.

It sounds like I'm making it up like a pretentious jerkwad, but I swear to god Jeopardy is the highlight of her freaking day. lol.

  • No waving, no clapping, no walking. I'm going to have a stern talking with JT tonight before bed.
  • DS waves when he knows DH or I are leaving for work and when he is leaving Gma and Gda's house. He uses his whole arm and practically his whole body and he says uh as bye, LOL, it's to cute...

JT called me the other day. He said waving and clapping are sooo 9 months. He said he is just going to go straight to riding a big wheel.

Emily must be Whitney's twin. She thinks waving is the cat's meow. It's a full arm, occasionally full body wave and she's so proud of herself whenever she does it. Not gonna lie I'm pretty proud too.

In fact, right now don't really care about college just content with the waving. Maybe she'll be that kid that lives at home with her parents forever and waves them off to work each day, then hunkers down for Oprah reruns and a warm bottle.

  • E waves when she feels like it. We almost never get a wave if we try and provoke her to do it but when the packers where at the house packing everything up they got one every time they waved to her.  We're trying to clap a lot around her but she just smiles at us like we're doing magic.  She did the "so big!" arms over her head for about a day and now she looks at me like I'm insane when I try to get her to do it.

Maybe if I tell him Santa only brings presents to wavers and clappers he'll catch on!

JK - that's so mean of me to even say and threaten. I hope I'm not one of those moms!

  • Shiloh waves, claps, and gives high fives.  Her favorite thing is to smile and wave to herself and mommy in the bathroom mirror. :)
