    Joel Thomas is my favorite of the lot. I also like Jaron. I knew a boy named Jamin while growing up (pronounced JAY-min) but I'm pretty sure it was a made-up name.

    I really don't like any, I'm sorry. I picked Jax because it was the best from the list, for me.  But, I would prefer Jackson.

    I knew a Jamin as well - I believe it's actually from the bible somewhere.  I've always thought I heard that's where it's from, theI googled, and it says it's of Hebrew origin... his brother had a biblical name, so it makes sense.  I don't think it's made up, just not terribly common.

    I think Jace and Joel (the only one I liked) are a little too matchy...what with the same letter thing AND the one syllable thing. I recommend:

    Joshua (though Josh would also be too close to Jace...)
