It's been a crazy week for me. We had our first visit with an RE and I also was offered and have accepted a new job!
The RE suspects from some of the tests etc that I have already had that I have PCOS. I am going back on Monday for the fasting glucos test, my RE things this was never looked at because I don't fit the norm in weight, I am actual small about 5'3 and 114# so he things the prior two OBGYN's didnt even consider it. I also have some fribroids that he noticed have grown over the psat 10 months though my U/S pics. I had also had a hysteroscopy and my doctor that did it said I had many polpys he didnt see them from the pics, so on Tuesday I am having another hysteroscopy. I am really excited to finally have a plan.
My question is has anyone had a hysteroscopy and not been put out? I was put out for it in Feb, so I am a little nervous about that. We are leaving for a 10 hour drive after wards and I am a little worried!
Lastly, for finally some good news, I accepted a new job and we are on DH's insurance that covers -0- for IF, if we switch insurance its a bit pricey VS DH but covers 100% for IF......so I will be switching to the new insurance. Thanks for listening!

Re: First Visit with RE and a question
Congrats on the new plan and the job!
As for the hysteroscopy, are they doing anything while in there or just looking around?
I just had one this past week and only took 800mg of Motrin. While the RE was in there I had to press down on my stomach so that he could get a better look. The procedure itself was not as painful as the HSG but there was still a bit of pain. It was more uncomfortable than painful. My recovery is different than yours will be because they went in and cut out the piece of my m/c that was left over. I had a rough recovery because of that. RE said that if he didn't have to cut, I would have had just a little cramping.
I hope yours goes smooth and painless!
