UPDATED: Update and It's a....

Baby is absolutely fine and perfect. I do have a small leak in te placenta but they spent a lit of time explaining it to me and reassuring me that te risk of losing the baby is less than 2%. Now it's a..... Envelope. I have the gender results right here in an envelope. It's in my hand. It's screaming at me open, open, open. DH was not able to be with ne at the appointment since it was a last minute thing and I am under strict orders not to find out without him. We were planning on having a gender reveal party on Dec 2nd when we were supposed to find out, but I think I am going to have to throw that out the window. Waiting for M to get home tonight is going to take some serious self-control. ETA: It's a GIRL! Another girl and a sister for Gracie!

I'm so glad baby is ok! And I definitely wouldn't hold out for the party, this afternoon would be hard enough! But even though y'all will find out tonight (I'm guessing) it would be fun to surprise everyone else for your party!

I was in the same boat as you. I took the envelope up to Carters. I then picked out a little brother/little sister outfit. I took everything up to the cashier handed her a $20. I told her I would be back in 5 mins. I asked her to open the envelope then purchase the right outfit. Then had her put the outfit/envelope/change/recepit all in a gift box. When DH and I were home together we let my then 2year old open the gift. It was such a special moment for all three of us.

Later we did special gender reveals with each of our families.
